Sauteed Brussel Sprouts
These delicious Sauteed Brussel Sprouts are quick and easy and the perfect side dish for any meal!
Ingredients:
1 pound Brussel Sprouts (trimmed and halved)
4 slices of thick cut bacon (sliced in 1/4 inch strips)
1 clove of garlic
1/2 cup of chicken stock
1 Tbsp Butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Add your bacon into your skillet on medium low heat for about 10 minutes or until crispy.
Move your bacon onto paper plate with a napkin for it to lay on.
2. Raise the heat to medium high. Cook brussel Sprouts in the grease from the leftover bacon for about 2 minutes or until it is lightly brown.
Add garlic to the brussel sprouts and cook for about 1-2 minutes and until garlic is fragrant.
3. Add the chicken stock onto the brussel sprouts mixture and cover with lid. Cook for 4 minutes or until brussel sprouts are bright green.
Take lid off and continue cooking for about 5 minutes or until liquid is dispersed and brussel sprouts are soft.
4. Take skillet from heat and mix in your bacon, butter, and salt and pepper into your brussel sprouts mixture.
