• Use only with a clean-burning lamp oil; do not use alcohol-based oils.
• The torch is designed with a lift-off reservoir lid that sits inside the glass container. Gently remove the metal cap by unscrewing it; the wick lifts out as well.
• Fill the glass torch ¾ full with approved lamp oil; use a small funnel to prevent spills.
• Ensure the wick is pulled slightly above the top of the metal cap.
• Let the bottom of the wick sit in oil for 2–3 minutes before lighting to prevent dry burning.
• Wicks are replaceable and can be purchased from your local hardware store.
• Approximate burn time: 4–5 hours when the torch is ¾ full (varies with temperature and climate).
• Wipe the exterior clean with a soft, damp cloth and allow to dry before storing.
