Steak Kabobs
Here is the perfect summertime meal! Bursting with mouthwatering flavors, these Steak Kabobs are guaranteed to satisfy all your taste buds!
Ingredients:
1 c. Red cooking wine
1/2 c. Olive oil
4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 Tbsp. Garlic powder
2 tsp. Seasoned salt
1 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Dried parsley flakes
2 lbs. Top sirlion steak, cut into 1 inch cubes
8 Cherry tomatoes
1 Large Onion
1 Yellow Summer Squash
1 Medium Zucchini
8 Wooden Skewers
Instructions:
1. Mix the red cooking wine, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, seasoned salt, pepper, and dried parsley flakes in a bowl. Then, pour half of the marinade into a big zip lock bag. Add your steak into the bag and make sure to secure the bag shut. Move bag around so that the marinade covers the steak.
2. Chop all the veggies up, except for the tomatoes, into 1 inch cubes. Put the other half of the marinade into another big zip lock bag. Add your veggies in the bag and let your veggies marinate.
3. Sit both zip lock bags into the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
4. Empty and dispose the marinade from the zip lock bag with the steak in it. Empty but KEEP the marinade from the zip lock bag with the veggies in it to use for basting while grilling.
5. Before firing up the grill, make sure to spray the rack with cooking spray. Heat the grill to medium heat. Lay your kabobs on the grill and cover for about 10-15 minutes or until your preferred doneness. Baste your steaks, with the marinade that we set aside, regularly while turning periodically.
